Rationale
Our subject was advertising a beach clean-up. We used the contrast of a beach and cleaning supplies to create a rhetoric around juxtaposition, to make the viewer look again. Our look was family-friendly, clean and fun! Our call to action was “The ocean needs a scrub down!”, talking about cleaning the beach and making changes in day-to-day life to prevent waste going into our ocean. This is explained in our website and through or take-home reusable bags. We chose bags over the flyer to minimise waste used in this project. Our combination of illustration and photography draws in the viewer with eye-catching sea creatures and reinforces the real-world effects with real imagery and cleaning supplies.

Poster + Bag Finalizations (by Sam)
Sam took some of my concepts and blended them with her own.
She also designed our 'flyer', which we chose to do as a reuseable bag so we don't create more waste.

New assets
I drew up a bunch of sea/beach creatures for Sam and I to use wherever in our iterations.
I've been making more iterations of our spray bottle poster, but also going back to our photos and seeing what other things I can do with them.
[Might use this on the website]
Second Interim Critique
Referring to these images:

- Direction of nozzle
- Spray bottle = chemicals
- Don't use too many colours - confusing

New Posters
Sam went and took some new photos based on my thumbnails, so I've been able to make new poster designs from them.
